Sorry if this is not in a good spot. I have a 2014 Carrera S MT. Today I was putting my car on a truck to ship back to NY and was standing behind the car. I started hearing a clicking noise. It's not continuous but every 10-15 seconds I would hear a couple of clicks. It's not a very loud clicking. Any thoughts on what it could be? Thanks.

When moving or still or both? Engine running or off?
Could have been the cats and exhaust cooling off and clicking.

Car was running in Neutral with E-Brake engaged. I'm pretty sure it kept clicking when he pulled it into the truck. Not sure what the engine temp was but I wasn't driving it prior to meeting with the truck. Car was basically idling for about 10 minutes before I noticed the clicking.

rnl sez dfi, which is (aside from all the acronyms) probably correct. These cars also have very loud valve lifters, which get noisy if the car sits for long.
Why would you ship a car from warm Houston to chilly NY this time of year?

Thanks for the help, guys. The thing is I haven't heard the clicking noise before. It definitely sounds electronic whatever it is so I'm more inclined to believe it's the DFI rather than the cats and exhuast cooling off. Any other ideas?
Funny you should ask MJBird, I just like to race my car in the salt, sand and snow all winter. Kidding. I am moving back to NY so I won't be driving it until April at the earliest...
