Ordered for end of April delivery. After seeing the carbon fibre in person at the LA auto show, I am wondering if it is a little too glossy and not as matte in appearance as I would have hoped. Under the white lights of the auto show, it almost appeared to have very bright white lines separating the small squares. I'll post pics on that in a moment.

Question, did you purposely leave out the carbon interior trim or is it just not included in your list? As it reads right now your center console trim and shifter are in carbon but the door/dash will be in the standard black aluminum trim?

I actually am not sure. I tried out two 911s this fall, but that was to test out PDK vs. manual. I can't recall whether I had or not.


Thanks, Vise. I was kind of worried when I read your question because I thought I had forgotten to ensure a match and my order is locked. I asked my SA and he said that I did indeed have the carbon fibre on the doors. Not sure why it wasn't in the list of options that was emailed to me.

you might save yourself 3K by ditching the PDCC ... IMO its not worth it... I think you should also drive an SPASM car to ensure you enjoy the ride quality over PASM

 

Not just the doors, the dash as well... to be safe I would confirm that you have the option below, since you don't have the GTS Interior Package the carbon interior trim (dash + doors) is a separate option on the GTS.
