Larrry, Correct me if I'm wrong, the GTS cab is configured for your wife. Your GT3 is mostly a track car. Wouldn't the silver S be a perfect "in-between" ride for you?
Actually my GT3 is more of a garage queen that pops out for the odd track adventure, the GTS is really for me, but specced so that the wife can also drive it when I let her!
If I was speccing a Coupe, it would be a GTS, SPASM, 7MT, SD Ducktail, Sapphire Blue, PCCB...

My spec is close. I skipped PCCB's; going back to metal for a while on my DD. And went with PDK for something a bit more tolerable in some of the rush hour traffic I sit in. No Ducktail for me because it eliminates the blackened engine cover that I really like.
One thing's for sure, whoever steals the silver S will be out driving it and not on the forum while waiting for their build and delivery process to finish
Being a frequent vistitor to Marin County where Sonnen Porsche is located . . . this 7-speed manual transmission will surely go to an owner who never has to drive on Highway 101 alonside the dealership that heads south over the Golden Gate Bridge into San Francisco. One of the most crowded and worst commutes in the world. It is no wonder PDK is favored in this part of the country. However, there are many extremely wealthy folks in Marin County who will love this manual transmission for weekend drives on the great roads leading out out to Stinson Beach and Highway 1 north towards Mendocino.
Sonnen does order interesting cars . . . I dropped in last June to look at a leather interior before ordering my C2S.
the drive back into the city is truly horrendous, I live in SF and frequently go over to sasulito/tiburon and if I'm meeting friends its faster to hop on my road bike and over the bridge on the weekends when the left side is open for bikes only.
that being said I own a 7MT 991 C2S and I love it. good luck on the sale
Whadda guys fightin about? It's Christmas. Go fight with those Subaru or BMW guys. We're all in the same family here.
That being said, I want my car to be a freak under the sheets. I'm not going to spend this kinda coin on a girl that's gonna send me home to take care of business alone if you know what I mean.
Gimme a car that's gonna scream and keeps askin for more.
I want my car to be like the girl you don't want to take home to Mom versus the one you want to have your children.
Guys, buy a car that's got the options to let it rip. It's a 911 not an S Class. Common now!

Larry,
Other than your timidness, there is nothing preventing you from adding the SD Ducktail to you GTS Cab.
Understood, Larry -- you are certainly a GT3 guy. Have you driven the 991 GT3? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts as compared to your 7.2GT3.
I haven't, for a couple of reasons, I'm sure I'd want one if I did ... and I believe that the 7.2 is probably a classic in the making being the last Mezger manual
For me, and this is purely subjective, I think the 991 is targeting a different market...
doesn't mean its not an awesome car ... just a different one.
