Major let down with the Worldwide reveal of the new model. (991 GTS) I was looking for a GT3RS. Too crowded with non-enthusiasts. Food was not good enough to try & chase down the servers roving the floor. I prefer the Friday morning version which I already declined due to the $20 covercharge.

I was thinking hard about going (had confirmed invitation ). I knew it was too soon for GT3RS, and 991 GTS has been all over the press already. When my SA told me that my dealer alone had invited 90 clients, I made dinner reservations. Couple of friends did the same.

I wasn't that impressed with the Porsche VIP session Wednesday night. (For me it's a bit of a drive from Santa Barbara--particularly with the time they start it (8pm)). The hors d'oeuvres pretty much real average. It seemed more crowded this year compared to the last several years. Cars? How many ways can you show a slightly different version of the same thing?

Wait...isn't that a GTSRS standing next to the passenger side front wheel?!
