Having previously owned a 991.1 GTS and a 991.1 GT3, I'm back into 911 ownership with a 2018 991.2 Carrera GTS. It has a fantastic spec and is in Graphite Blue Metallic.
Left work last week and majorly rethinking the sale of my car, may just end up keeping it
I'm doing the same. I can't help but think what all the 993 and older owners feel now that either sold or kept their cars many years ago...
You almost forget how great the car is until you drive it again.

Agreed....I have lusted after a 911 for longer than I can remember. It is a daily internal battle between what the mind and heart want as far as selling or keeping the car.

Would you be replacing it with another 911?

As someone whos's owned several 911s with the 993s being the most prevalent (12 years with my 95 and 14 years with my 97) I feel my current car was quite possibly my perfect replacement. Do I miss my 993s? Yes but nowhere near enough to choose one over my current T. Long term I plan on having another 993 as I think having one alongside the more modern car would make a fantastic pair of 911s.

The 991 is a great generation of 911 with some models vying for "all time great" status. Your 991.2 is a fantastic car.......if more regular drives keep you from changing then stick with it!

Beautiful T! I daily drive my 991.2 and my 2 year old daughter loves riding in the back as well. There are too many times that I have had to compromise for space since I daily drive a 911 so I was looking to replace it with a sports sedan for practicality. I know the front grill is controversial but the new G80 M3 has really caught my attention for performance, comfort, luxury, and the fact that it comes in 6MT which I really miss driving. However, when I walk out of the office or into my garage and see my car, it is becoming harder to let it go. Might just end up picking up a cheap DD instead.

That's what I did years ago. Less hassles and worries with a daily that's used more as a transportation appliance.
