not sure why the Elephant kit requires the spring perch to be cut off and the KW H.A.S doesn't ... (although it does require its removal right Vise/Ryan)?

Another option, would probably to just buy a set of Bilstein B16 Damptronics to retain PASM and gain coilover adjustability
