Okay a quick update.
I found out that my GTS is on a vessel named the Mermaid Ace. Guess what? She docked in Halifax this morning.
The new official eta is now December 19th.
She is getting close.

Wow!! Getting close.
Seems like yesterday when you were going over which final build to go with!
I'm just about as excited as you are following the whole "order to delivery" journey!

Thanks guys. I will be sure to keep you guys posted.
I do like the SD wheel, and if I had went with a PDK equipped car I would have selected it. However, for a manual I like the MF wheel. Plus being in Montreal the steering wheel heating is nice.
I got a 3.25 discount.

Okay so I just got an email from my dealer. Apparently, Porsche AG has not finalized the rates on the GTS so they are holding ALL the GTS cars at the port until Jan1.
This is a reply to a note i sent asking about scheduling the delivery of my GTS.
Is this common for a new model?

We will have to wait and see what happens.
Frank spoke with Porsche Canada and the cars might not be released from port until Jan 1st if Porsche AG doesn’t approve the programs in time.
So worse case, you will be able to pick it up after your Christmas vacation in early Jan as initially expected.
Nothing is confirmed yet so we will have to wait to see what happens early next week.
Let’s cross our fingers.
