For all the other commenters re. the warranty issue - appreciate your inputs, and you all make valid points. I'll have to scratch my head a little more and see what I decide.

I'd suggest that you ask your warranty question to whomever is servicing your car. Since Porsche techs deal with warranty companies on a regular basis, they are in a good position to offer you advice as to your best option.

I would imagine any one in a Porsche dealership is going to recommend a Porsche product, be it a 2 year, 3 year, or whatever. What I hoping to get was some input from people who had actually purchased an extended warranty and what they found to be the most competitive with the best coverage. Thanks for the input.
