Default What are common causes of buzzing sound on the left?

I'm taking my car in next week to find a buzzing sound on the left driver's side. I'd like to maybe point the service guys in the right direction if someone has had this fixed before.

1. It is more of a buzzing sound and not a rattle from the door area.
2. It happens on accelaration mainly.
3. When the weather was warmer this summer, it went away.

If someone has been able to narrow this down, I'd appreciate any help.

Thanks in advance.

Does your driver's door latch have the proper black rubber backing plate?

I'm not sure, but I'll check later. Thanks.

I just wanted to report in. I took my car into the dealer for the buzzing coming from the left driver's side on acceleration. The dealer found it was coming from the driver side seat memory switch bank. They removed the door panel, removed switch bank, and added sound insulation to the switch bank and contact points on the door. The buzzing sound is now gone on acceleration.

Hope this helps if anyone else has a similar problem and wants to point the dealer to it.

Good to know - thanks for passing it on, Richard.
Side note - get-together at some point?
Cheers,
Martin

I'm not going to make it to the island the rest of this year because of work. If you're on the mainland give me a shout. My car still hasn't been seen next to another 50th.
