Any luck with fabric factory pepita fabric?

The factory modern fabric is available but I don't know who stocks it. I was lucky enough to find a local trimmer who managed to secure a small amount of it from a Dutch vendor. I had always wanted a modern targa with this interior but never got around to doing a factory order as the CCX option price and delivery delay always put me off. I ended up buying a new 991.2 targa 4s that my dealer had built as a showroom display car but agreed to sell to me when it arrived with them. It was delivered on Carrera S wheels in satin black but I had those swapped for a set of Sport Classic wheels in gloss black to give the car a modern twist on the retro look and swapped out the bright finish targa badges on the roll hoop for a set of black ones to match the rear badges which were finished in the painted option in gloss black. The car was delivered with a black leather interior which looked good but never wowed me. I had the modern Porsche houndstooth fabric fitted last week and am delighted with the result. It has totally transformed the car for me. The added bonus was that final cost was considerably less than the factory would have charged and the standard of work is incredibly high.

The Sport Classics are 20" and the car has PPF. In case anyone has a T and does not have the T pinstripe Sport-Tex fabric in their car I know this material is also available from a few suppliers should they want to retro-fit it.

@ISUK I like the pepita inserts that we are seeing more and more of lately...but I have not seen any car that worked so well as yours. The look is perfect with both your exterior color and it being a targa. Beautiful.

Gary @ classicfx in the UK was able to source some a few months ago. See my thread in the GT3 forum starting with post #200.
