Also note that the factory is closed most of August every year, so PAG may not issue any allocations until next week for the coming first run production starting September....and those builds were in house June/July before the shutdown. Pending allocations, if I recall correctly, would likely be Oct-Nov builds or later.

Good luck.

Agreed. The first dealer I tried to negotiate with told me, "we won't deal--we have more customers lined up than we have cars to sell." As if a 911 Carrera S is an ultra-rare, limited-production vehicle. It's not a 918. It's not a Ferrari 458 Speciale. It's not even a GT3. Give me a break. I was flabbergasted by that statement. Well, I guess they didn't need me, then. I walked out.

+1. $1k to hold the allocation. I paid some more when I finalized the build and confirmed ED dates, but I think it was still under 10%.

I didn't order my car, but to reiterate what others have said, all dealers have their allocations at least a month or two out. At the first dealer I visited, the guy showed me the printouts that detailed cars that were already incoming aka allocations. Some were asteriked as customer orders, the remaining ones were lot cars that could still be reconfigured to your specs up to a certain date. I believe the sheet I saw had the next 60 days worth on it.
