I really not worried about the 911 S going to FI anytime soon. Macan and other non sports cars should lift the CAFE bogeys. Maybe...

+1 although I do wonder what the spyshots of the cars with the new exhaust configuration and bumper vents indicate...

We will probably at some point see side intakes. With the wheelbase stretch from 991.1 there is a lot of real estate back there even on the "narrow body".

The little shark gill intakes from earlier Caymans and Boxsters was cute enough but the 981 versions look amazing and at least as good as the Turbo's. Assuming there was even the slightest benefit in having them then I'm sure it's a lock for future designs. Even if there's no benefit, they do look pretty good and I bet it helps sell cars.

If those help with anything then bring em on. But I really hope the spy shots of those hideous front bumper intakes don't make it to the line. It's hard to believe that it would make a dent in mileage anyway. I'd be shocked if it was more than 0.001 coefficient advantage.

They want to change up the exhaust but I'm sure it's a no no to copy the GT3 exhaust so what's a German designer to do? Lol.

I wouldn't kick it outa bed but I prefer what I have now or the GT3 exhaust.

Thanks for your comment.

It's probably a good idea .... But what if nothing is presented there

I am not sure if 991.2 will have significant new changes/enhancement over .1 ? Or maybe it will.
