All said though it is a car that you want to enjoy. It might be better to accept it and move on to enjoying the car. Life with stress and aggregation is not worth it.

Wowww. Holy Crrrrrrrrrrrap!!!! Not cool brother. Gotta have the Sport steering wheel. At least that's fixable. Wrong paint though? I hope the dealership is properly contrite.
My car had a factory error (the dealership has been awesome). The dash on my car doesn't have the deviated stitching. I didn't notice until I was giving my daughter a tour the first evening. They have already ordered the replacement. I am kinda edgy about the tear down and replacement though. At the factory, the dash is one of the very first parts installed in the car. I have visions of parts all over the place (uhgggg). Oh we'll, deep cleansing breath!
But back on your issue, DR, I'm very sorry Brother.

That's terrible. Assuming you have the signed ordered with the correct paint on it, I think they should do a lot more than give you the credit back for the paint. You are spending a lot of money and deserve what you ordered.

How often does a ship leave Emden bound for San Diego?
My 10/03/2014 build date hopefully will catch a tailend of a loading rather than sit weeks on the German dock.

I missed the boat by a day and my car ended up shipping about 10 days later. So in my case, it was well under 2 weeks from one ship leaving to the next.

This is the website to track a boat. I used an app of the same name on my iPhone. You will lose coverage when the boat is outside the range of ground based navaids. You'll lose it for about 5 days after it clears the English Channel then pick it up as it passes a group of islands off Portugal. Then lose it again until the Caribbean, etc. (if are bound for San Diego)

The boat schedules from Emden can be checked at anytime at:
http://www.pwl.de/en
-Select under "Liner Trade"
-"West and East Coast U.S.A." (for example)
and
-"Volkswagon Logistics Ro/Ro"
Next boat, for San Diego, Arrives Emden 15SEP and Arrives San Diego 13 Oct. The "Themis Leader". Check every so often. The schedule only looks ahead several weeks in the future.
For delivery to The Rockies, your port could be Houston.
Good luck with your cars. Congrats and happy tracking!!!!!!

AZ.....That GT3 is AWESOME!!!!! Is that Sapphire Blue? At night with the flat black badging it is especially killer!!! I restored a 1970 Mulsane Blue (Stock Color) Vette roadster that looked similar. It was no GT3, but beautiful in its' own right!!! Your car is a wicked head turner.

Check our the Sapphire thread in 991 GT3 section. I just posted a few pics from the detailer today.
