Hi All, First off, thanks to all for the input during my journey in search of the perfect Porsche.

Really important threads were the 991 vs 991S & the "must have" options.

This beast is an S, Sport Exhaust, PDK, Sport Chrono, Sport Design Steer, vented seats, Sport Design package, Bose.

I almost "settled" for a car without the PSE, but I thankfully resisted and got a car with the awesome Sport Design! Couldn't be happier. Yes, I have to get it shipped, but this beaut has all the options I dreamed of in a 2013.

I would love to hear your experience with the black leather (do you have seat ventilation option) with the cabriolet in L.A. I am debating what interior to get, and I am concerned that black leather will get too hot
in direct sunlight, hence thinking about black/platinum ...

the car is stunning ... would love to see more photos of the ducktail and front fascia too!

agate looks almost purple in that lighting!

 

That took some cajones to order a red top. Looks cool.

 

I think it works with agate and interior, might not work with other combinations ...

I'm thinking of going blue top on my sapphire blue Cabriolet...

 

I just could not find another interior I really liked. I am always afraid of the lighter interiors so I just stuck with the black.

And Yes, the vented seats were another "must have" for me. After I tried them out, I knew I "needed" them!

 

Trust me Lex, that was a concern. But with the red calipers and the red belts, it makes sense. It was not a deal breaker for me and the wife loves it! ( I hope this doesnt mean she wants to drive it!)

It's funny, I used the red top as a negotiating point, telling the dealer that it is going to take a special person to take this car off their hands! I just love the way the whole car comes together, especially with the Sport Design package.

Its going to be a long 2 week wait!!

I wanted to order the red top. The wife did not. She keeps my cajones in a little jar. I now have a black top.

 

I don't know Lex...Doesn't the fact we all own Porsche's say otherwise????

Red top, Black top...who cares...But Porsche, That says it all!!!

Needless to say, I am giddy with excitement...but keeping it under wraps.
