<---- new owner, jukebox question
HEELLLLLLLOOOO ALL!
I just picked up my 2014 Carrerra S Cab. I came from a 2011 BMW Z4, so far loving the drive and car experience in general, a huge step up for me. There are some minor grips i have comparing the 2, but i'll save that for another thread and day.
I've a quick question, hopefully someone has experience it as well and can enlighten me. I've loaded about 5GB of mp3s on the Jukebox and have noticed that sometimes randomly, the whole headunit will reboot/restart itself. I though it might be the mp3s, so i played the radio for about 10 min yesterday and didnt experience the same reboot, though it could just because i didnt play the radio long enough.
Anyone have seen this as well?
Looking forward to getting to know this community!

I've had my 2014 C2S for 2 months, and the PCM has rebooted twice, both during MP3 playback off a USB drive, but never during radio playback. Was it during am/fm, or Sirius? Clearly, the PCM doesn't play nice with all mp3 encodings. I've had the same issue with mp3's that play fine on a laptop, but choke on an iPad.

Thanks for the responses guys. I had a chance to go for a drive again yesterday, this time i played the same mp3s from a usb drive, not from the jukebox, and did not experience any reboots. I have a feeling this issue will be a bit annoying.

I think it works the same way for me.
