First 90 days are too short for any meaningful survey.
Most of us were still in the honeymoon phase and hadn't had time to fully evaluate ownership.

And we've all had our salesperson put on the charm offensive and beg us to give outstanding reviews.

Interesting that "Powertrain Quality - Design" was ranked poorly.

After hunting around for the fine print, it appears that things like squeaky brakes fall under this category. That probably accounts for it since many (if not most) owners will encounter some brake squeal in the first 90 days until everything is bedded in.

I agree that 90 days is ludicrously brief. "Initial" quality means the first year in my book. I only just now got there with my 981BS, which is still coppa bella macchina.

Congrats to Porsche AG, and to whoever hacked the database at JD Power and put Jaguar in the #2 position. Some impressive work there, worthy of a place in history alongside the MIT undergrads who took the dean's VW apart and reassembled it in his office.

Hmmm. But does it justify the price which has crept oh so high with a few options?

I'm sure there are many owners of other brands ( and Porsches ,too )who feel that both Porsche and Jaguar hacked into the JD Power database !

Agree.

How in the hell could Jag get into that position? Ridiculous.

When my father was at MIT a few of his fellow dorm mates dis assembled and then re assembled a Jeep inside an upstairs room in the dorms. Classic.
