Default No rev-matching with traction control off

For those of you with a manual 991, does the auto rev matching in Sport Plus deactivate when the traction control is deactivated? I noticed it for the first time yesterday. If so, what's the purpose? I assume that maybe traction control is turned off for track use, and it's assumed you will do own heel-toe maneuvers?
Or is it supposed to continue to work?
Curious for PDK responses too.

Interesting. I'll have to play with that. Doing a deep cleaning the past couple days. I kill bugs fast.

rev matching stays on with the PDK even with traction control off. Sport or Sport + also. C2S.

Mine does the same thing. I guess we have to learn to heel and toe!

Yep. I tried it today with my 2014 C2S 3-pedal and the sport plus rev matching is disabled when PSM is off. As a long time SCCA club racer, this makes me happy. I haven't had the 911 at the track yet and I was worried that the auto rev matching would get in the way. Although, truth be told, it doesn't seem to get in the way when I heel-and-toe anyway, but I'd hate to get lazy since my race car doesn't have such conveniences.

Rev matching come with Sport Chrono package right?

How about launch control for a manual? Does the Manual come with it?

I'm a PDK lover, but still I think that's pretty cool the autorevmatching is disabled in SportPlus when TC off. Always found it idiotic that going to the sportiest setting introduced a heel and toe helper. Always felt backwards to me. But now, hats off, back to purity. No TC, no autorevmatch, as it should be !

No launch control with 7MT.

Rev match in cars newer than 2012.
