Default Spacers on a 50th

Has anyone put spacers on a 50th yet and if so, what size did you install?
Other threads regarding this question for a 4S seem to suggest that 15mm in the rear and 7mm in the front are the preferred sizes.
Any suggestions?

Yes, I did try it, and those sizes in fact. The 7mm up front are perfect, but 15mm is too much for the rear, and I ended up with wheel poke. Not sure if the rear Classics have a slightly different offset or what (I thought they might be the same as the Sport Technos, which are also 11.5").

In any event, I'm switching to 7mm all around, which I believe should be perfect. Haven't received the new set of 7s for the rear but will report back when I get them and throw them on.

That would be most useful... pics please when you have the 7mm spacers on, I need to add them too. Cheers

Sure thing. In the pics in my intro thread in my signature, the car is wearing 7mm up front and nothing in the rear. I'll post new pics when the 7mm ones go on the rear as well.

does the 4S and the 50th have different offsets on the rear wheels vs the base C2 and C2S? ive seen some 4S's around and it looks as though the rear wheels have more of the concave look perhaps due to the wide body of the 4.. and if the 4S does have diff offset, has anybody swapped out the rears on base C2 with wheels that come on 4? I'd be interested in seeing how that looks. perhaps even push the wheels all the way out flush with fender, no need for spacers?

Yes, offsets depend on both body and wheel width. I believe Suzy was the first one to post these, so most of the credit goes to her. The 50th wheels are the same as the Technos for C4/4S (per Suncoast).

Rear - 11.5 x 20 ET48 - 305/30 ZR 20

I just found out the ECS has an 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. I think I'm going to replace my RSS 15mm in the rear with a 12mm. I would guess the 10mm would work well on the 50th.

Cool, I didn't know they offered those sizes either. I'll see how flush I get with the 7mms first, but it's nice to know we have all those options between 7mm and 15mm. Thanks for the heads-up.

I'd like to see what that looks like. perhaps eliminating the need for spacers in the rear.

Indeed, if everything clears it should be like running 18mm spacers. Might be hard to find precedent, since 18mm spacers are so much cheaper in the end.
