Buy a white GT3. They come standard with black letters. Also buy fire extinguisher.

OP I think you did a really nice job under the circumstances. Amazing how something like this could be so complicated when curved surfaces enter into the equation. If I do anything with the emblem, it will be to just take it off completely. Already went for model designation delete. My 993 has nothing on the back and it looks great. After all, pretty hard to not know it is a Porsche.

Money, I had a local shop make a template for me before they removed the Porsche/911/Carrera/4S emblems prior to installing Xpel Ultimate film on the rear bumper, as I was undecided which emblems I'd put back on afterwards. I could take a picture of it this evening and send it to you if you'd like. It looks like it's mostly made of masking tape and some thin foam. It's sized so that all you need to do is align it with the upper outside corners (just inside the tailights) of the bumper cover and placing the letters in the exact right spot should be a piece of cake. You could probably make essentially the same thing.
Many thanks.

When mine gets here the letters come off first day, I already know what kind of car it is and don't need to go to the back to check to be sure. The only thing the letters do is collect grit, make it harder to wash and wax, and provide advertising for Porsche. Anyone who feels they need to read what is on the back of my car I don't want near my car in first place. I think the back of a C4S with its wide hips looks fantastic, any jimcrack back there just detracts. I'll powder coat the exhaust tips black also.

I plasti dipped my emblems right on the car. The excess just peals right off cutting around the individual letters. Turned out pretty good for my first time using the dip....

I used the plasti dip in charcoal for a Silver C4S. It took about 45 minutes and looked great. The can of dip was around $8. The next project will be painting the S in red.

The P and S should be higher than the S.
His letters are clearly not off set as he went for a straight line approach, which gives the illusion of droopy letters..
My letters are all the exact same distance from the top crease (when measured along lines perpendicular from that crease).
If you look closely, you'll notice that the R and C are a TINY bit higher than the S and so on...
