Default Quick PDCC question

I know SPASM is lower, but when you option PDCC with SPASM, does the car sit even lower? I have heard and read conflicting answers....

No. No change in height from PDCC.

I'd second that. Maybe the car sits a fraction of a mm lower due to the extra 80lbs. in weight added by PDCC.

Base 991 is zero.

991 with PASM is 10mm lower.

991 with SPASM is another 10mm lower (20mm lower than base).

PDCC does not effect ride height.

Great info. Sold the GT3 and just wanted a comfortable fun 911 again. Riding on mono ***** + GT2 buckets = I need a break.

Still undecided on PDCC, but I know it's a hot topic so I don't want to start it again. But was very impressed with the 991S

I have PDCC. I have had no problems but in theory the car rides smoother in a straight line but is flatter in the turns as the "sway bars" tighten up. Some say front tires last longer. And I confirm it's not lower. Bottom line better handling and smoother---that's the theory but hard to really tell.

This may help you decide:

I have it and just did my first autocross with my 4s. The instructors in the car with me were stunned at what it took for my car to break loose on the skid pad, the grip is hard to put into words. One instructor was speechless how composed the car was and the lack of any body roll no matter the speed. I would get it again. Good luck with your choice.

Thanks for the video. I'm most likely getting it. Test drove a SPASM with no PDCC and it leaned over like a row boat compared to my monoball GT3. Really like a flat drive with little roll

Same for me, but haven't had it on a track yet.

Yeah. I just have to get out the tract to really push it.

I checked a ton of boxes on my custom order, including the PowerKit. The PDCC was one of the boxes I did NOT check. At some point, I just had to stop checking boxes. That said, had I checked one more box, it would have been PDCC. No regrets. But I probably would have liked it too.

Just one thing…neither of the cars in the video is a 991...
