Default Porsche Coffee Table

All,

I commissioned Greg Melartin to build me a coffee table with the "guts" of a 1974 Porsche 911 engine like I had in my old P car.

Attached are some photos of the finished product and a link to his website if you're interested. He can do about anything. I am really excited about it!

Josh

How much does it weight? How did you source the donor parts?

Thats totally cool. Looks like the valves are easy to adjust too, even with the cocktail glasses still on the table.

Hi,
I think it weighs approximately 100-120 pounds.
I found a junk 1974 911 engine for sale on eBay one day...I've always wanted an engine table so I purchased it and had it shipped to Greg. He tore it all down.
I liked the "raw" look of the metal so I had him leave it natural, with just a clear coat to protect it.
