I was supposed to drop it off tomorrow but all of the parts are not in yet. So I won't have my answer on this until Thursday. I will grill the tech about it :-)

My car goes in on April 28th for PSE at my Porsche dealer. They quoted $2,700.00 for the PSE kit plus 4.5 hours labor @ 118.00 per hour.

The kit for the S is over 400.00 less than the base car kit. Also the labor on the base to install kit is 8 hrs.

I guess the S model must have the wiring and some other parts. I also asked about a credit for the tips. They advised me there are no deletions because it is sold as a kit and that the tips from my present exhaust do not fit.

These prices are all in Canadian dollars. $3250.00 plus tax installed is a good deal considering the option price is 3300.00.

Got the car back today. Totally different animal. So glad I did it!!

The wiring is in place on the s model. It took a few hours to do. Dropped it off at 9, had it back by 5. As for the base, it seems there is more work to do. I coild not confirm the presence of the wiring.

Totally worth the upgrade. Makes the car complete.

Thanks for the update. Now I'm just waiting for AWE to build the exhaust, and Porsche to ship the various parts!

Yes - I continue to believe your install will be very simple as we discussed earlier. I'm looking forward to seeing the outcome.

Congrats and glad you like it!
Now that you will get used to the PSE sound, the AWE exhaust is going to start growing on you
Just kidding...

Just went out for a drive and actually thought about that... :-), In my mind, AWE unquestionably has a better sound overall. But the OEM aspect of the PSE and the more appropriate sound levels for my preferences got me here. Either way... They both are incredible sounds.

Looking forward to meeting up again sometime.

Probably just Atlanta and meet up with a few of you. I know the CEO of the "Porsche Experience" Like to stop and see him.

I did the Tail of the Dragon about 20 years ago. Got hit head on by a guy on a Harley thinking he was Evil Kenevil. He punctured a lung and totaled my 88 911!

Can anyone actually confirm that they have fitted non-PSE tips to the PSE center muffler without issue? I have seen a lot of speculation but no first hand accounts.
