Default New wheel help

Looking for a good looking set of wheels for my 4S Guards Red. My preference is a gunmetal color. Have been looking at the Forgestar F14's. Anyone have feedback on these wheels. Quality, weight, overall finish?

Also been looking at the Avant Garde Ruger mesh wheels and really like the deep concavity. I like the look of these better than the Fstars but don't know about the weight. They both come in a gunmetal color. I had BBS on my last TT and really liked them but want something different. Any help on quality and experience with these two brands would really be appreciated.

I think these would look amazing on a guards red.

Here is the 808-Series wheels we offer, these are available in Hyper Silver or Matte Black finishes, they are available in 19x8.5 and 19x11 for your application. They accept factory ball seat design lugs (not tuners as some others require).

Let us know if we can further assist you!

I got some avante guarde wheels for my winter wheels, see attached. Overall they are ok but I'd probably look elsewhere if I did it again. The main issue I have is the size of the channels for the lug nuts, several (not all) are way too small and there's no way to get the socket in there without doing damage. It was hard getting the wheels on for the winter without doing damage. It was impossible to get the wheels off without doing damage, especially the rears.

Other wheels in the same range you may want consider are hre flowform and OZ. I'm sure there's many others as well. Good luck.

The 808-Series was built so that the lug holes don't have this issue, see the attached photos.

THE LAST PHOTO IS OF A KIT THAT WILL WORK BETTER FOR YOU SINCE YOU ALREADY PURCHASED FROM AG, these kits work much better than those kits which they provide. These kits are made in ITALY and are TUV approved.

I am sooooo super happy with my Roderick RW5. Great bang for the buck. Fitment is awesome. No spacers required. Car's stance with these wheels looks so aggressive and amazing.

I'm looking seriously at the Vorsteiner VFF 101 and the HRE FF 01 in gunmetal finish. If anyone knows anything about these wheels I would love to hear it.

Allow us to introduce the FlowForm sector of our lines... This was taken by our Canadian dealer (via iPhone), SportsCar Boutique at an event this past weekend.

$2900 for set.

Can you help me get a handle on color please. I have a Guards Red 4s and don't want black wheels. I'm looking for an anthracite/gunmetal color that's not too grey that will work with the red. What color would you recommend from HRE? I don't want it to have a bluish tint either. Hope this is clear. I saw a color Satin Charcoal on the HRE website. Is this color available on the FF 01?

Satin Charcoal is identical to Fog - Gloss Charcoal is identical to Anthracite.

Essentially both colors are Charcoal; the only difference is one is glossy, the other is matte.

Where can I get a set? Pretty stupid for anyone to offer a set of lug nuts that they know will damage the wheels.

Thanks for the info on the wheels. I'm not sure your color description helps if I don't know what color Fog is. Will it work on the Red and is Charcoal not a straight black but more of a gunmetal black? Is there any way to see a sample of the Charcoal color?
Can you tell me more about the FF wheels, weights, offsets, overall look and quality. I will be looking for 20". I'll run 305's in the rear.
Sent you a PM asking the same info.
Thank you
Sal

Hello Sal,

Below are two shots of the two finishes - Anthracite on the left (gloss charcoal), Fog on the right (matte charcoal - not gunmetal). We can direct you to

Red and Charcoal will work. We're working on a Guards Red C4S rendering to give you an idea...

Specs:
20x8.5 ET50 24LBS (5MM spacer required for flush fit) 235/30/20
20x11 ET35 27.2LBS 305/25/20
