Will do. I picked it up yesterday with the replacement part installed. Only drove it for a bit -- but I will put a lot of miles on it to and from, and on, a track this week end.

Did you look to see if your seal is torn and/or a small piece gets stuck on the outside?

I had a look and I can't see anything split. So I am not 100% sure of the exact rubber you are talking about. Could you take a photo of where yours split maybe?

Open door, look right where rubber "cap" coming out of door stops and window gets bare, behind the plastic triangle. Here:

same exact issue on 2012 s - I cannnot reliably replicate it though it only seems to happen when it wants to and does not occur each time. There is nothing wrong with my seal it seems to be that small drop of the window that occurs when you open the door and just doesnt put itself back up- whats troubling is it happens when the passenger door is untouched and need to manually raise it

9 months later, mine is back. This time w/o a tear in the rubber.

Passenger door window sometimes, but not always, stays down just a bit. A pull on window switch will quiet it down, but why-o-why.....

Same here.

I know the windows go down a fraction because they are frameless, but why does the passenger one go down when I open the driver side door?

Is this something that they would fix under warranty/CPO?

Yes, they tinker w/ this under warranty.

On the passenger door window going down w/o touching that door, I think the windows do two stages of pre-opening.

One is when you unlock, they "disarm" and drop a bit. Then drop fully as you touch a handle.

It seems the whistling issue stems from that the "disarm" randomly fails to "re-arm" if door is not used, hence leaving window just a touch down.

Mine seems to be cold weather related.

Mine is still doing it as well. Seems weather (cold) related. Hasn't done it for months, then temp dropped and now doing it again!
