Hit a deer

You're right...just took a while to get the pics back from the developer ;-)
Front left took the brunt of the hit...at least now I have a good excuse to fix the front plate holes from euro delivery.

Glad you did not get hurt. Hope car is back to 100% soon.

Modderman recommends German Autobody, near the San Jose Airport. They are also on the Porsche Approved Collision Center list, https://www.porschecollisioncenter.c...che/index.html.
I don't have any personal experience with them, except when I was getting quotes to repaint my 1987 944 Turbo, where they quoted me around $12k.

Looks like you clipped the deer on the front side of the car. That is unfortunate.
Had you got it head on with the low front bumper, you would have merely swiped the deer's legs out from under it, and had it roll gentle over the car, up the windshield, and down the back. It would have landed on its feet and run off, unscathed.
(seriously, that happened to my sister in one of those mid-90s camaros)

Drifting
Sorry about that, thankfully you are ok and the car doesn't look too seriously damaged. I live out in the country and those things are everywhere. My record is hitting 2 in one night driving home! On separate occasions 20 miles apart.

Yikes. I went for an early morning drive on Page Mill Monday, and saw both a skunk and a deer crossing within 20 minutes. Decided to head back home.
I've heard nothing but great things from tons of people I know who've had work done at United Collision in Mountain View. And all the GT3 guys seems to universally recommend The Works Auto Body in Santa Clara.
Glad you're ok, and good luck!
