Nice! I saw the color sample yesterday at the local dealer when my car was in for some cosmetic warranty work. It has a little more orange in it than Ruby Red Metallic, which was replaced by Aramanth.

Congratulations!
Thank you for posting those images because I am currently configuring a 991 S in that color, and I couldn't find any decent pictures of it anywhere. I saw a boxster in AR at the dealer, which is what sold me on it. Absolutely gorgeous, and obviously very unique.

In direct bright light it definitely has some orange influence.

That color reminds me so much of "ARENA RED", that specific Burgundy Type color that all the 993 911 Turbos were. That is when I fell in love with Porsche and Turbos and that's also why most of my Configurator 911 Turbo Builds start off with with that color. Well that and I knew a Lawyer who came to the Starbucks I worked at back in the early 90s had that Exact car. Arena Red 993 Turbo with Beige Interior.

Beautiful and under-utilized color. One of the best they've ever put on a car. Ever. And thats the best interior color for it by far out of the 4 "free" ones available.

Amaranth is also a striking color, tho I have only seen it on a Boxster in person. I preferred it to Guards side by side.

After looking at the Agate Gray Metallic in person vs the configurator, I was not sure how close the Red was to in person. By the looks of your pictures it's actually quite close.
I'm planning on getting an 911 with Red - Black/Red, but not sure if that will look very d-baggy, or if it's gonna be a very nice combo. I saw a white/red, but all red interior was too much for my taste, but not sure if those red's work well together or not ...
Any comments?
