Default Guard LSD for 7 speed manual 3.4

Has anyone installed the Guard LSD in a manual 991? Would love to get an idea of costs and performance improvements....

Thanks,
Lou

I just got my car (a 3.8), but I fully expect to have to call Guard to replace mine in a year or so. I'll also put a lower ring final drive in as well if it's available at the time. You'll have better luck on the gt3 forum where a lot of folks have upgraded. If you do it, please post the results. Did you get the locking diff option or is yours open?

It does not sound like anyone has done the Guard LSD in a 991.

To your point, the Porsche LSD is horrible, and usually wears out in less than a year. Maybe I will be the first one to try the Guard, and report back lap times and autocross performance improvements... When I installed the Guard in my Cayman S it improved my lap times by about .8-1.8 seconds
