Congrats. I didn't have the same experience. I stopped by the dealer to ask about when the GT3's were coming. Manager said it would be a long time, and that I needed to see a car that was available. Drove it home that very same day. No regrets.

Sorry everyone... been busy.
Man... this is an amazing car!!! I cannot believe I almost chose the PDK over the manual. So, so happy I came to my senses!!

Well, I have many reasons; never use sunroofs, would rather spend $$ on PSE, glass roof seems too vulnerable to chips, cracks etc., and I just never really cared for sunroofs.
Production began on 15 NOV and ended on 22 NOV. It was loaded quickly and arrived in the US on 11 DEC. It showed up 3 days later at the dealer. My salesman said that was an unheard of quick schedule. I guess Santa was involved...
HELL YEAH I'M OUT DRIVING!!!! And loving every minute of it! I'm sorry to all the PDK owners (I know there are A LOT of them...) but I just can't understand the PDK thing. If I was going to race this car then yes, I'd get a PDK. But I don't plan on racing this car... ever. Yes it's faster, yes, it's freaking incredible how quickly it shifts, Yes it can shift quicker than me, yes it's cutting edge technology, Blah, Blah, Blah... The bottom line is that the good ol' manual IMHO is just so much more fun to drive. To me that's what it's all about and precisely why I ordered an MT car in the first place.

Manual transmission all the way.
I recently test drove a PDK & MT. The MT is way more fun and involving to drive.
If you want a sports car you get a Porsche with a MT.
If you want an automatic sporty car just get yourself a Lexus, BMW or Mercedes.

You're gonna love the black wheels in terms of keeping down brake dust visibility. I would have gotten them myself if I had bought any other color than black. I now regret not buying PCCCB (Carbon Fiber brakes) for that reason alone.
