Default PZero 305-30-20

After 27,500 miles, I replaced the 295 rear tires on my 991c2s with 305s and like the wider look.

That's amazing! Do you have PDCC? You don't drive hard enough! Good job.

I ordered Sport Techno wheels just so I got the 305 tires in the rear. I did not want to have tire envy. All my friends have 295. LOL!!

Yeah, I'd like to see before & after pictures, too...
...also, do you use spacers?

The only limitation Porsche puts on their car configutor is that they don't allow the 5mm spacers on the Sport Techno wheel (since it is already a 1/2 wider than the other 3 wheel choices). You can configure a car with 305 rear tires (C4 and C4S) with the 5mm spacer.

Oh. My bad and now I'm going to shop for that size! Thought I couldn't as I have spacers. Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Rennlist

You can definitely run spacers on 305's. I'm running 15mm in the rears on my C4S.

Are spacers just for looks or is there some functionality to them.

Rodger that. I have the OEM 5 mm spacers all around on my C4S with the 305 rears and it just adds nicely to the whole wider rear look...

Amazed that the OP was able to get 27.5k miles out of the rear PZeros! I just looked at my PZeros (will go back on the car soon) and the rears look so much more worn than the fronts after only about 4k miles on the clock. I do a lot of stop and go driving, and drive somewhat aggressively, but the car hasn't (yet) been on the track and I drive a 7MT and haven't tried a DIY version of launch control . . .
