Congrats, it's beautiful! I don't know how you will be able to wait until spring to pick her up though...

Congratulations indeed. It is beautiful.
I have to echo others. Have the dealer put your baby on a trailer (on a sunny day) and get it to your garage. Plug it into a Battery Tender and enjoying walking into your own garage to look at it, sit in it, etc...every hour on the hour![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
No matter how nice a dealer, having YOUR car sit in their showroom for so long is asking for real trouble. The only way that I would leave it there is if they allow you to move in and the stand guard until that Canadian winter passes. Your family may have issue with this plan but hey, we are talking about a 50th !
Get your car home and enjoy. We all hope that things warm up soon for you and your new baby.

Congrats to your car. You must have nerves of steel to leave it at your dealer for such a long time. My 911 50 came two weeks late and I was close to nervous break down. To hear the start of the engine, smell the interiour, feel the g-force and listen to the bable of the pse - not beeing able to enjoy my car for moth would definitely kill me! I agree to the others: Bring your car home!
I live in switzerland and already moved the car over a snowy mountain pass (with winter tires of course) - it works just fine.
Enjoy your car in good health.

Obviously your choice but there is no way I would let my car stay there... Since all the protective covering is off and it is in the showroom, people will be sitting in it and worst of all, someone who probably doesn't give a damn will be "wiping" the dust off it everyday for the customers with god knows what... Also, the dealership will be "moving" it around (to explain any "additional" miles) and if they do move it outside, well there's that problem too.
Beautiful car, enjoy!!!

Beautiful car! But wow, you do have patience. I picked up my 2014 C2S in early November and keep it in my garage all week. Despite the cold weather in Philadelphia, I wait patiently for every weekend to drive it! I can't imagine waiting so many months! You bought this car to drive! Enjoy it!

Very nice and your car is probably in good hands at the dealership. Here in Denver the temperatures have ranged between -9 and + 9 degrees. Be safe and bring her home when weather permits.

Get that thing out of there.
I had to have my delivery delayed by a month due to an extended business trip.
On my eventual delivery date I was appalled to see how many folks were jumping in and out of display cars on the dealers showroom floor (not to mention the angry man with the vacuum cleaner.

Thank you everyone for your concern and words of confidence [handful and Bacura]. Indeed, I did not make this decision without some trepidation. However, multiple factors were involved including the logistics of moving the car to my house, difficulty in accessing my storage garage in the winter through the back alley with a lot of snow, relationship with the dealership etc. I do have a plan B. Depending on how things go I may still utilize that. At least it is always kept locked and at this dealership, almost every customer is escorted by a member of the sales team from what I have seen so far. The traffic through the dealership in the winter is also very low [especially during Christmas season].
Regardless, the car is beautiful and it is very tempting to simply have it at home just to look at every day.
Soon I hope to join the rest of you who are already driving and enjoying their 9-11-50s.
