Yes, that is repairable. The tech will sand down the abrasion and apply a new top coat in a matching color. There are folks who specialize in this sort of stuff and service car dealerships. Like this fellow.

Do a google search in your area or ask a high end used car dealer who they use.

It will likely also get less and less noticeable as the car ages. LIght scuffs on dark leather in particular typically fade especially if you treat them with a light conditioner.

Original 911 came without a ducktail and it wasn't till 73 when ducktail appeared on the 2.7RS so given that the 997 club sport also had a ducktail it's safe to say that they are reserved for homage to 73RS and sporty models whereas the 50th was intended as homage to the original 911.

Interesting. I thought I read somewhere that the Fuchs were introduced later than 1963. Guess a ducktail would be too retro.

Correct, fuchs were introduced on the 1967 model year but still from same SWB era, besides I don't think steel wheels on a 2014 car would have been very practical.

Just replied! Mine is headed to Sloan Cars next week. $147K MSRP, no stories, 24.5k miles, geyser over peptita sport seats, PDDC, LED lights, steel sliding roof, etc. Keep an eye out for her!

3 Questions for the 50th AE collective:
- Has anyone debadged their 50th? I'm thinking about the "50th 911" badge on the rear. While I like it, it's a bit too much for me. If you've debadged, let's see some pictures. How hard would it be to put the badge back on so that it's lined up correctly if I change my mind later?
- Is the front chin spoiler the "Sport Spolier Lip" (SKU991SSL from Suncoast)?
- Pumkins vs. clear corners on a Geyser. At first I liked the contrast from the pumkins. But looking at more pictures online the clears look good as well. And if you go clears, I suspect it should be the LEDs vs. the regular bulbs. Let's see some pictures of your 50ths with clear corners on them!
