The model is from Welly (No. 41010). It's very true to life, but weirdly the rear wheels don't move, which prevents me from rolling it around my desk and making engine noises while on conference calls.

Hello people I am thinking of selling mine, #1714 geyser grey 8K miles. Just put it in a concours contest and got 2nd to a 1500 hour 56 speedster restoration. I lost by one point because I drove mine and the other car was trailered needless to say its pristine. When I relocated I used it to do house hunting 2 trips and 4k miles was those two trips and then the one way back to Idaho from Cali. Email me at paulgt3@gmail.com
What are we selling for these days? I see anywhere from 134 and up.

Would be good to hear what you sell yours for. I have mine, and I have a GT3 on the way so have to get rid of that to make room for the GT3.

Just to put this out there for those who haven't seen my WTB in the other section: Looking for a manual shift no sunroof 50th with low miles from a private owner. Prefer Graphite, but will also consider Geyser. Black is a no-no for me. Please pm me "Pinball" in SoCal.

Went for long drive today and thought I would bump this thread with a resounding...Damn I love my car. Absolutely nothing in this world handles like a 911. The pinnacle of driving pleasure.

I said no,no,no, but there she was........
Went to Porsche of Southampton two weeks ago to tell him "no" on the '17 C2S MT that we were considering. One P-car in the family was enough, and beside, after just returning from ten days of driving one in Germany/Austria, the Long Island Expressway would not be as exciting for a 911S.
Long story short, "Gretchen"(German definition..... "Little Pearl") was spotted in the distance across the display area....The rest, as they say, is history.
Our Geyser Grey was picked up last week with 2000 miles on the clock, which we converted to over 4000 miles (Goodbye collector car status!) while driving to Nashville and back this weekend. Twelve hours in the 18 way is heaven.
Any other 50's in the NY METRO?

Sure do miss driving her in Germany. First shot is when she was shipped to us from the dealer in the US to Stuttgart during a nice snow storm. Second shot is from a few years later in the Black Forest.
