DD versus GQ

There are numerous instances when individuals post that they are going to use their cars as DD and others refer to theirs as GQ. I am interested to know how this really breaks out....
I added mileage a key factor because I know that for many, the definitions can vary. For example, driving 5000 miles/year but still thinking of it as a garage queen because it is babied.

I DD my 2013 C2S Cab, currently got around 11k miles. Commute is roughly 25 miles each way, including dropping the kid off at school, dropping the wife off at her office, and then heading to my office. I would by untruthful if I said my wife loved our commute, she would definitely prefer we drove a tesla or something a little more comfortable. My son loves it though! =)

27k...enjoying it every day except for when it snows....I would like to drive it in the snow, however, i live in an affluent areas populated by many suburban cowboys who do not understand that four wheel drive in a Lexus SUV or Range Rover does not improve braking ability on sheer ice. After it snows, it's nuts out there, they put it on 4 wheel, put the pedal to the metal and tail gate careful drivers. I just don't want to be there when they try to stop and wind up in the back seat of my 911.

...well, yes, I have better than new (not a difficult feat as BL build quality sucked), fully restored MGB that gets out for about 1000 miles a year as well as other cars to drive when the weather is real sh*tty outside.

I DD mine, as much as I can. I will take a commuter train to the city for work, but I will drive everywhere else I need to within appropriate range, even on 600 mile round trips for work.

I drive mine 24/7 365. I do have a pick-up but it's only for hauling what won't fit in the car.
