Default Pulled the Trigger!

Just put my deposit down on a new 2013 911 Cab S! Searched a lot to find one available with the options I wanted:

Platinum Silver/Black Leather
Adaptive 18 Way Seats
Bose
Sports Exhaust
Sport Chono
PDK
Dimming Mirrors
Heated/Ventilated Seats
Dynamic Light System
Sirius/HD Radio
Sport Design Steering Wheel
Clear Tail Lights
Power Steering Plus
Wheels Painted Platinum
Aluminum Shifter

Very excited and just wanted to say thanks to all the contributors here. I was very close to buying a Jag F Type V8S but the tons of them on the lots scared me big time. Loved the sound of the F-Type and hoping the sports exhaust will come close as I have not heard one yet...

I got a great deal and they even included shipping the car to me. Can't wait!

Regards,
Eric

As you might expect, I think you made a great choice! I drove the F type V8S for a couple days a few weeks ago. That was what I would call a euro attempt at a muscle car, and I was bored with it after the initial noisy rush. What you are buying is a wonderful driver's car that will serve you well and keep you interested for a long time to come.
Congratulations, and as usual, no one here will believe you until you post pics.

Thanks Hammer - I was wondering if the F-type would wear on me after a while. I also thought the 991's cockpit was just so much better thought out then the f-type. It's a beautiful body but...

Congrats.

Platinum Silver is a great color. Wish Porsche would have kept it for 2014.

I just saw the F-type in person 2 days ago for the first time... Made me really happy I have my 991. The 991 lines are so much nicer to my eye - F-type looking just bland to me - which is good I suppose.

It's being shipped from Texas to California. I have a trip over thanksgiving (which i am debating cancelling!) so Dec 6 is the plan as of now.

Congrats! Gotta post up pics when you get it! Nicely optioned!

I too almost pulled the trigger on a V8 F type. Loved the looks, sounds and everything, however, limited trunk space, and the possibility of depreciation issues and 1st year woes shied me away.

Plus: my 991 interior blows the Jag away!

You will definitely LOVE the PSE...I find myself just leaving it 'on' all the time!

Thanks, you are making me feel better about my decision!

How loud is the PSE compared to the f-type?

Agree, not happy with my Rhodium silver, Platinum looks much better imo.

Perfect color choice! The 991 PSE is more refined (e.g. less raucous) than the F type but non the less grin inducing.

Well, RS is a LOT better than forking over almost $4,000 for GT Silver.

The Jag is interesting looking at it head-on and maybe front side view. But only for a little while. The rear of the car is not attractive at all. No interest there at all for me. Same with interior. You did the right thing.

I cant say much about the F type V6, but the V8 version sounds great. The 991 pales in comparison, even with the PSE.
