So far I am just thrilled but the weather has not been great. Calls for nice on Saturday so I plan to put on some mileage. Coming from a 997.2 S it seems smoother and more refined. Definitely more interior room. The graphite grey is just stunning but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am very happy I picked that color. The Burmester>>>than the Bose in my 997.2 S. The sound is so rich. No comment on the PCCB or PDCC yet. Very happy with the PDK but my 997.2 had PDK as well. I am also happy with the MF wheel but I tend not to use any paddles and a heater steering wheel is a MUST. To me, the 911 is the most beautiful car on earth and the 911/50 just adds to that. I waited 2 years with a deposit on the car and I am not disappointed. GT3 awesome/turbo awesome. But as a DD with no plans for the track it is just perfect for me. I need no extra power than this beast has already and I want the smoothness. However, if you are a trackie go GT3. Also, I love the glass sunroof---a must have .

Just a quick note to say I'm very excited about this thread and will be checking it daily while I wait the four LONG months for delivery. And congrats, Bacura! What interior did you select? Any pics?

I chose the full black leather interior. Pfaff had a german 911/50 on display for 1 day. It had the houndstooth inserts. It's a personal thing but I found it ugly. I know it's retro and "cool" but I just didn't like it. I'm glad Porsche offers a choice.

Just a short note. I'm still breaking in, so now hard driving at the moment. But of course, it feels absolutely superior, very responsive, perfectly balanced. Honestly, I'm a bit disapointed by the PSE, too little backfire. But I am really amazed how awesome it looks. Love the graphite gray, the trims, the green digits and all the stitching. There are some pictures in another thread. If you want to see (or know) something specific, let me know.

You'll get more snap crackle and pop once you get the revs up after break-in.

That's sad. It will take me a whole year to break it in. I only put on 3000-4000 Km/year.

I love the S with mechanical limited slip diff, Sport Chrono, SPASM and manual shift - and handles way better with more grip at the front axle compared to a 997 GT3 MKII...

CBG,

Amazing! I didn't think I would be, but I'm a huge fan of the houndstooth!

That's really stunning, CBG. I love it from every angle, inside and out, in your configuration. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Good reviews - keep them coming. I love the grey with the hounds tooth combo. I am confused as to get PDCC or not. It will be a street car - no track for this one.

My wife says I haven't stopped smiling since I got the car. It corners well enough to scare you a little which is saying something given that I have a 996 GT3 that is now a a dedicated race car. I have no intention or need to track this car but I think it would be awesome on the track, especially with the right tires. I went with the Bose which is good but not great. There is enough road/exhaust noise in the car that I am not sure I would appreciate the Burmeister.
I get lot's of people commenting on how beautiful the car is. It's not uncommon to have people taking pictures even on the road.
My main frustration now is that i can't push it yet. Need to get some more miles on it.

Great looking car - I would suggest that you spend about $40 and get clear side markers instead of those orange ones.

Is anyone still able to order one? It seems like they are about sold out. I know some dealers have them now on the showroom floor.
