If it was a C2S I would bite! Beautiful build, but I favor the RWD. I will not rule out that shopping list for an upgrade!

I like the 2WD and AWD....and in fact the new AWD seems less obvious then before.

Brett, when that gets there can you post some pics of the black/orange deviated stitching? I'm real interested in seeing that, it sounds really nice.

Default Parallel lives.

Awesome choice Montesquieu!

I too planned on a Mexico Blue C4S 7MT almost exactly as you have built! Also then changed to a Geyser Grey 911 50th, then went back to a C4S as I wanted the CAB - went with my heart and also did not see me loving the Geyser Grey in real life forever, looks awesome now in hindsight to those who have one.

By that time I had ordered a Santorini Blue/Amber Brown (BMW's Mexico Blue) M5 Limited Edition, so could not do TWO M&M Blue cars, so I went with LICHTGRUN or Birch Green PTS (influenced by Eduardo). Looks like PAG is dong a big PTS run in FEB 2014, that is my build date too. Colour in avatar, perhaps a bit more yellow in real life. Anyone else with PTS FEB Build?

I am also with OP and have the two-tone full leather with deviating stitch everywhere there is Espresso leather/Cognac stitching. Melissa helped with my order at PCNA. Sport design kit, sport techno wheel to match exterior colour (a chartreuse-like lime green), PSE, Burmeister, 7MT SC, Red belts, gauges, 18-way, brown roof, similar extra leather bits as Montesquieu. Takes a lot of time to ensure ALL the leather bits has the cognac stitching! I have all the PTS interior trim in the exterior colour for contrast.

I already have two sets of Magnagraphic rock guards ready to install, carbon and matte black. So funny OP and I were both thinking of this!

Euro Delivery of M5 in March, then hang out in Europe to do Euro Delivery of 991 in April. Anyone else doing ED from a FEB PTS Build, we could meet up at factory? Great photo op.

Brett at Sonnen……glad some dealers have the courage to order these PTS cars, 99% dealers won't do that! Good on ya!

My 50th birthday present to myself.

Jupjai, I love your car and find humor that we both went back and forth with the 911_50. I love seeing cars on the road that stand out and reflect their owners' personalities. Yours does in spades. Well done!

[*]April 2013 - Requested a custom Mex blue cab build. Waited 2+ months for a build date, without luck. Gave up, canceled, and left an unhelpful dealership.[*]June 2013 - Saw the 911_50 and instantly placed a deposit for graphite gray at a different, better delership. Waited 4+ months for a build date, gave up, and switched back to the custom cab.[*]Nov 2013 - After a final 2 month wait, received a build slot for my cab: Feb 2014.

Details:
- PTS Mexico blue
- 7MT
- X51 power kit, PDCC
- SportTechno wheels painted black
- Espresso/Cognac natural leather with many upgrades
- Burmester
- Lots of little personalization details

I have mixed emotions about not getting the 911_50 in graphite. That is a beautiful and well-executed car. But the long wait gave me time to lean back toward a number of preferences only available through full customization, including PTS, the interior leather combo, and cabriolet. Sascha Glaeser was very helpful in spec'ing out the build. Porsche North Houston was a great dealership to work with. I'll post real pics when I eventually receive it.
Your PTS cab is going to look stunning and I suspect that the 911_50 turmoil will just be a blip in hindsight. Enjoy it and please post pics when it comes in.
