Default TPM problem?

Halfway through a 250 mile trip today I got a low tire warning on my left front tire showing it was 4 lbs low on air. I checked the TPMS display and it shows both front tires at 30 lbs. I stopped and put 2 more psi in the tire and it now shows 32 psi in the left front tire and 30 in the right front but I still get the low pressure warning for the left front tire although now only showing 3 lbs low.

What am I missing here?

Anyway to reset the warning?

While stopped, go to the TPMS screen on the cluster display and reset the tires for the wrong size - that is, 19inch if you have 20inch or 20inch if you have 19 inch wheels. Then reset the wheels for the correct size and tires. Drive. See if that works....this worked for me once.

When doing the above check also see whether your settings are for Performance or comfort setting. If your system is set for Performance then that could give you low pressure warnings at 30 lbs I would think.

Changing the tire size did the trick.

Thanks!
