Awesome Car Buying Experience

Thank you all. You're very kind. After starting out focusing on a Cayman S, I did get hooked on a 991 once I drove the thing. Although I certainly upped the budget, I am really enjoying all the extra options I got that I wasn't prepared to put in my build. Well, I haven't really used the PASM in my five days of ownership, and am trying to keep the RPMs down, but love everything about the car.
Well, the hill assist is a little annoying, as my garage is on a slope. I read that there was a reprogramming done for that and I will see if my car has had that done or not. Small nit, indeed...

Yes, hill assist is a pain and takes some getting used to (especially in a MT where the gas pedal has to be pressed for it to disengage). Releasing the clutch alone will most certainly result in a stall.

It seems to grab and let go, grab and let go, when I am trying to do a K turn in my slanted driveway. Not the end of the world, just a bit cumbersome.

Congrats!
Chi Boy, no luck with the dealers in Chicago area? I also bought mine from Texas and shipped it for $1700. Still cheaper than what the dealers here were offering.

Well, I was looking for a slightly used one or a leftover. Napleton seemed too high priced, and I pretty much hated Loeber when I spoke with them. I've heard good things about Porsche Exchange, but they never had anything that tempted me to drive all the way up there to check it out. Hartford is only a few miles further than Highland Park. ;-)
