Default opinions wanted: add platinum wheels to rhodium C4S build?

I like the way the platinum wheels break up the silver in the body. Anyone have this combo?

Doc,

I was all set on ordering my C2S in Rhodium with Platinum Wheels, but when I saw a picture of the Carrera S Wheels Painted Black, I changed my mind. Of course that's just me.

However, I think the Platinum wheels with the Rhodium is a close second. I love how it breaks up the silver and visually adds interest to the exterior of the car. Not to mention, hides brake dust rather well.

If black wheels were not an option, I'd get Platinum for certain.

Rhodium looks light blue metallic most of the time, it blends great with the stock silver wheels.

I would definitely get platinum wheels. They are one of my favourite options on my car. They always look good even when dirty.

Lebreeze,
Your car looks amazing! I'm sold. I already contacted dealer with changes!

Any interest in the Carrera Classic wheels? I saw one at the dealership on the Rhodium silver and I thought it looked great. The brushed finish goes well with light metallic color.

I love the platinum wheels. Anyone know how hard or easy they are to repair if they get any curb rash? The platinum is painted, right? Would the entire wheel need to be repainted?

I love the platinum wheels. Would absolutely order my car with them if I specked it out myself. I have the carrera classics as I bought my car based on what was available.

Not what I would have ordered, but they've grown on me.

I think platinum wheels will match solid colors or agate grey much better than silver.

LeBreeze, Just amazing pictures and colour combo. I almost pulled the trigger on rhodium and platinum wheels based on your pics but in the end switched to Agate with the platinum wheels! I do love the platinum wheels on most of the 991 colours.

All I can say is I love my platinum wheels. Granted I have a white car, but I've seen it a lot on silver (and greys and even black for that matter) cars, and it looks stunning on them too !

I've been debating between agate and rhodium for a while now. Agate looks a little dull and brown in natural light to me. Porsche needs another silver/gray option. GT silver is wonderful but I can't justify the cost.
