Be happy she doesn't notice the difference. That means you can most likely do more mods and she won't notice those as well.
Good point, though she is very quick to notice me lingering over pics of the GT3 and stopping any initial discussion on that.....

Not really, it seems to be about the same as my old non lowered 997.1. I have to be slow coming out of my drive onto the road, slow down over speed bumps etc. It seems to me that my 997.1s had less clearance than my 991s stock, and with the springs it evened it up.
I had the front spoiler lip hydro coated in CF, clear coated and expel filmed because i thought the spoiler would be scraping a lot and i didnt want to waste the $$ on a real CF unit, but that really hasnt been the case.

The 991 has a shorter overhang than the 997. That's probably why it hasn't been worse for you.

So, if I am reading this correctly, I should not have any trouble installing the H&R springs and sharkwerks spacers on my base 911c that has no optional suspension/handling packages...?
