Yea,

Listen to Nemo and Zombie.

Drive every variation you can. Just don't wait a year like Nemo did! lol.

That kind of delayed gratification would have driven me to suicide!

Visually the car sits too high ! The 1cm PASM drop makes it perfect, and add the 5mm OEM spacers !

Looks like you have done very well, grasshopper !

If I was trying to meet that price point, I don't think I would have done better myself.

I disagree with the previous poster on the wheel gap. I think the 19s with the higher sidewall in black nicely visually balances out the blackness of the gap. The problem usually begins when 20 inch wheels are added without PASM on the C2 and the lower profile rubber, VISUALLY exaggerates the wheel gap although the actual gap is similar. It's all subjective. Look at the 19s on a dealers lot and do what makes you happy.

Well what is not to like with a black cab?

If I were to pick at nits I might say you are heavy on the comfort features relative to performance. Burmester with 18 way and the other stuff on a base model might be a harder resale. But as said it is your car an no one else's.

In a cab is the $5000 Burmeister going to be worth it? I can't hear the stereo in my car when the top is down and I am on the highway.

I can hear mine pretty well actually if I roll the windows up but the sound quality is lost.

Thanks for the feedback! Here it is with PASM and SC and dropping the Burmester - didn't think about the fact that it is a Cabrio. I sneak in just under 120k w this one.

That would be more my choice but it is not my car. Perhaps you know this but with the top up you will get full enjoyment of the Burmester at any speed. I don't know this for sure but I would imagine the extra power of the Burmester would help with the top down but I would still argue that you will loose the sound quality. Sadly with the Bose you loose the sound quality just by turning the volume up.

Yeah I would like the BM but 5k in a car I probably won't use the radio much vs. cool performance features - what a quandary!

It is a quandry indeed. Most will advise you to go with the SC / PASM, but again IMO, the Burmester is well worth it. You will take a resale hit, but I personally did not care about that. Even with the sunroof open and windows down in my coupe, it is very nice to listen to and the biggest problem is that the other options for sound in the 991 are pretty lame for a 100K + car. And you will love the sound vs the benefits of the SC/PASM that you may or may not feel in your everyday driving. Good luck with whatever you decide.

That is a really good point. I would enjoy the Burmester in 75% of my driving. I fully enjoy the PSE, PTV, PASM and SC in 25% of my driving. Thing is I bought a 911 because of that 25% of the time that I fully enjoy what the car can really do performance wise. If I could magically change my car other then leather I would add more performance not the Burmester or any other comfort options. YMMV.

100% agree, PDCC #1 cornering performance option, PSE #1 fun option, Porsche Design Steering Wheel #1 bang for the buck option.

The rest is a matter of taste.

I had the extreme pleasure of driving the base and S cab yesterday extensively.

Both are amazing cars, but I realized that the car is already very comfy and plush without all the extra interior options. I also liked the slightly more sporty look and feel of the S just a touch more. Especially I loved the wheels, red calipers and PASM the most!

So I'm now set on either finding or ordering a low optioned S Cab!!

I think I'd be happy w minimal interior options and just PDK, SC, PSE and the sport steering wheel!

Any advice on how to best search for this car off the lot someplace ??

Thanks again!
