The head mechanic at my local dealer, who has been on the track but is not a serious racer, likes 34/38, which is about the same. I think that is fine for the street, and I try and keep them around 36/39 on track. I usually gain 10-12 psi, which means I have to add air after a track event to get to acceptable street pressures.

My TPM and gauge are the same as well. Or at least within a pound when hot or cold.

Call me crazy, but I do what the Porsche factory engineers recommends for my Porsche.

31 front / 34 rear

I don't think I'm smarter than them, so I don't experiment with other tire pressures.

I do that and my TPMS warning comes on. It's set to comfort, 20" but the warning still goes off.

I am so glad someone brought this up. I always assume manufacturer settings are optimal. In this case, it is clear that the settings are optimal for the company's attorneys, rather than the engineers preferences.

The label should say that the 36 44 is optimized for transporting sacks of concrete on the autobahn.

There should be a new porsche owner sticky that addresses this.
