Hi Craig, I assume you are talking about the Pagid pads, which have been out for awhile? Or is there a new pad you are referring to?
As a note, I can testify that the pads work much better on the track than OEM pads do, and with the use of some permatex, I have not had a problem with squealing. Still make a little noise, but not obnoxious.

Are the Pagid pads streetable?
At least in regards to noise.
I assume they must be a lot more dusty.

Hi Lunarx,
I street my Pagid's but when they are not bedded in, they can be loud. They are fine after a track day, but after driving on them for awhile, they "unbed" (material gets worn back off the rotors). For me, I do enough track days and perhaps not enough DD to have it be a problem.
Also, when driving on the street, if you brake late and harder, they are quieter. It is the gentle, parking lot kind of braking that seems the loudest.
Regarding the dust, they are a little worse than the OEM pads, but not awful. I wax the wheels and clean off the outside whenever I wash the car. I only clean the inside when I take the wheels off for brake work, or tech inspection. I wax the inside barrels heavily and they clean right up with a damp cloth, no need for heavy cleaners. I have not had a problem with just wiping the dust off, it does not seem stick to the wheel like some pads I used on my M3.

John's 991, Thanks for that Pagid review.
Would you say they sound like typical track pads?
or
The noise is low enough, that you would not really notice it, if your windows were up.
Endless MX72 is more along the lines of "hard to notice w/ windows up", but then those are not real track pads.

Oh, you notice them when they are loud, windows up or down. They are real track pads and wear really well. I would estimate that at least twice and probably three times as long as OEM, plus they stop much better when hot. Initial bite is pretty good, and you can lean on them really hard lap after lap, as long as you have good fluid.
Of course the pads are easy enough to swap out for OEM if there are big time gaps between track days.

Craig, I remember at one point you also sold PFC pads. Is that still the case? I have the new PFC 11s for the 991S but they're actually too big for the rotor and cut a lip in the wasted pad material. I still have a few track days at least left on those but for the first time in many many years may not go back to PFC since they discontinued the 01 in many applications and can't seem to cut a backing plate correctly.

Good reviews above in the sense that they are what I have experienced over 9 years running the Yellows on my car. Big fan of waxing the wheels in and out on all my cars, track or not. Really helps!
