Lol oh man that is too funny!
Side note though, I was briefly at a bar that is notorious for gold diggers to hang out at, and noticed a LOT of the guys had their car keys attached to their belt loops to show what kind of car they have in the parking lot. Lol too funny. Pretty efficient if you think about it though.

That's probably because most women just see another car... They're no petrolheads. Most female friends of me don't get why I like cars so much. They don't know the difference between a Beetle and a Ferrari, other than the Ferrari is a Ferrari and the Beetle is cute. 
the only thing that matters for most women is how the car looks. A Fiat 500 will probably look better than a Lamborghini Gallardo for example. You see where I'm going?

My 991 is kinda weird this way - some women are a little scared or confused by it, most I've run into are oblivious, but two 20-30 yr old professional women (not professionals! lol) crossing the parking lot were staring so much at the car and then peering at me inside the grocery last night, I was having giggle fits. I'm totally married, one million percent and happy, never would do anything, but it was pretty funny.

Do you remember the Porsche clothing Seinfeld episode?
If I ever end up single again and need to go to a bar to pick up a girl I am going to one up all the guys who show off their car keys. I am just going to staple my tax return to my forehead. Much more efficient.

I find women are mostly uninterested. Suzi- you're a special lady with great taste in cars! Car guys are somewhat interested but Porsches are so common any more that it's not like seeing a rare exotic. I get the most looks and thumbs up from high school kids which is probably when I first became interested in nice cars.

I find confidence is what gets women. Whether it's a confidence derived from getting in great physical shape or a confidence gained from work/success or a confidence just doing something you are very good at. You have to be comfortable in your own skin. I think this is why typically older guys have better success with getting girls.
Then are guys who "just have it" socially, and are naturally socially confident. These are the guys who always seem to be able to get girls, regardless of wealth, status, good looks, etc.
I've seen many guys use nice cars as a quick fix for confidence: they lead with it, it's their FaceBook profile pic, it's all they talk about, etc, etc. I think girls see this as arrogance and a tad of desperation, not confidence.
