Sport Design Side Mirrors
Does anyone have a picture of these side mirrors? How do they compare to the standard mirrors? Are they painted the exterior car color? Or do the have the black plastic trim?
Thank you.
Thank you.

^Thank you, BradB.
So you can get the Sport Design Mirrors (that are body color painted, like I want) for $600.
Or have the standard side mirrors painted for $645.
Crazy Porsche! Do I have this right?

I have the standard mirrors and I have had no issues with them up to speeds of 130-150 mph. If you like the sport design esthetic or if your mirrors are causing buffeting, then I would consider a change. But as Suzy said, wait for the Porsche with these mirrors to be out for awhile to determine if they have the same issues.

I have read enough anecdotal evidence from track driving posters to warrant concern for myself. I am sensitive to these buffeting-noise-pressure issues with my ears. I looked at it this way, I liked the Sport Design look and was already looking at having the black plastic base of the standard mirror painted after I took delivery. Since the cost upgrade was going to be a wash after painting I decided to take the plunge and get the Sport Design and see what happens. Worst case, I get a mirror style I like. Best case, less buffeting and I'm golden!
