Default BMW Nut pulled to the Darkside!

After many years of BMW and M car ownership and lots of contribution to the BMW boards, I have been pulled over to the "darkside" by a couple of fellow M car enthusiasts who have both the M and the 991. And I am glad that it has happened. Never have I been so thrilled with a car! I currently still own a 2013 F12 M6 Cab in the garage, so I figure that I have the best of both worlds ....And even though it's early on (1 week) in the ownership of the 991, I can confidently say that if I had to choose...the M would go (actually a 2013 M5 DID go-wife drives the M6).

Took a long time for me to fall in love because I had to get over "Torque Fever" but now I am fully smitten with the glorious sound of the high revving normally aspirated flat six behind me!

I tend to be a heavy and tasteful modder with my cars and have begun already (see sig) and I look forward to REALLY having some fun with this new sweetheart of a ride! Wow! What a car! Porsche has really done a wonderful job in sticking to their heritage as a powerful and nimble "driver's car"-BMW not so much.

Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this car!

Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself and to say hello....and here she is! I hope you enjoy the pics!

Mike, I am following you to here now.

Picking up my C4s tomorrow and trading the M5

The dark side force is way too strong...

Time to sell the M5 parts now

Can you share some details about what the German Motorworks Tune is on your 911? Thanks!

Beautiful car! Welcome to the club. BMWs are good training. I went from a 2002 to a 914 2.0 (in 1973) and never looked back.

Beautiful - tastefully done. Welcome. I went from BMW back to Porsche (E46 M3 at the time) and I'm glad I did.

Yes it is. LOVE this color. Very slight blue hue to it in low light.
