Default Jacking contact points?

For anyone who has used a hydraulic jack to take their wheels off (I got the spacers from Shark Werks) is it easy to find the proper contact points both front and back for the jack?

yes. the jacking points are exactly where you would expect them to be for each corner.

I don't have an illustration showing them handy, but the are just behind the front wheels (in front of the rear wheels) and about 6" in from the side of the car.

It was very easy to find and just where you said they were.

I did however, have to drive up onto a block in order to fit the hydraulic jack under the car.

Anyone have advice on where to place jack stands on the 991? The problem is having both a place to use the hydraulic jack and a jack stand at each wheel. There are lots of threads giving tips with older models (esp. on the pelican parts site), but not much on the 991. Thanks!

They are very easy to see. They are roughly triangular plates with a round hole in the middle to the inside of the 4 wheels. I use a jack on one jack point and a jack stand on the other when I raise one side of the car.

The jack I use is quite low and has a thick rubber pad, so it is easy to get under the car and minimal marking of the paint on the jack points occur. However, I decided not to stress about the paint under the car. Makes working on it much easier.

I had my rear tires changed last week and the shop did it with two lowboy jacks. When they lifted the first side from the rear jack point, I think I saw the front wheel lift slightly too. I've had other cars that worked like that, does the 991?

(Caveat, I know it would not be prudent to remove both tires on one side with just one jack under it)
