Default 991 TT Build thoughts?

Ok, posted this in TT section, but not much traffic over there. Comments/suggestions welcome, I have until 9/20 to lock it in so I'm predictable waffling quite a bit, mostly just on exterior color. Went from GT Silver back to white.

Thanks made a couple tweaks based on suggestions, took out fire extinguisher and added stainless door sills. It has deviating carpet in black, just doesn't show up on configurator.

GT Silver over Red is such a classic, traditional combo and just looks awesome. White over red not so much IMHO. Good problem to have!

Agreed, I'm still torn, but I have a silver S6, and I'm planning on getting a silver 993 at some point in the next year or two...ugh.

Guards red belts in a Carrera red interior look a bit odd IMO. Two different colors red...

It's a very nice build BTW. I would vote for GT-Silver or Rhodium silver with Carrera red interior and silvergrey belts (But I'm biased )

The red interior is great - exterior can be any one of a bunch of colors including white, silver, grey, etc. I haven't seen the LED headlights yet which would be my only question.

How do you find or see deviated carpet? I ordered a car yesterday and still may configure deviated carpet. Is this an extra cost option? (That's probably a silly question.)

Thanks

Option CFX - Personalized floormats with leather edging. It's in the "Interior leather" department
And yes... It's a $645 option.

Thanks. I saw that but assumed it was mats only.

I am getting a two-tone leather interior in black/platinum and am considering black carpeting instead of the standard grey.

That's not in the configurator. That's Porsche Exclusive, so you have to contact your salesman for those options.

Ahh. The sales "Ambassador" at my dealer didn't even mention this. Sheesh!

Thanks

Hahaha. IMO, that's mostly because there can go a lot wrong when ordering Porsche Exclusive options, so many salespeople are a bit afraid of it I guess. everything has to be very well specified. Carpet isn't that difficult, but when one wants different colors on dashboard and that kind of things, it can really get messy.

Yea, I made it easy for him. Came in with my configuration all printed out. Made my deal. He stapled my configuration to the sales sheet. Cha Ching! Out the door in less than an hour. Bang. He was ready for another potential client. He turned me over faster than a table at a fast food restaurant!

Actually, it was a pretty pleasant experience.
