I was at the dealer yesterday and was mentioning to one of the techs there about the PCM rebooting twice on me. He entered the car from the passenger side and did something to turn on the PCM (can't remember what). Then he closed the door (key wasn't in the ignition) and I went inside. When I came back out, the PCM was still on and music was playing. No key.
How did he do that????

If you press the volume control (on/off) button and hold it a couple of seconds when the car is stopped - without the key in place - the whole sound/radio/nav/phone system comes on and runs fine.
It will warn you that it can only run for a short while because of power usage but it's not necessary to have the key in to play music.
