Goodwood Festival Of Speed is simply the best money any car fan will spend........awesome place.

I stood - actually touching - an Auto Union as it started up, it's carers unconcerned by my presence. Watched 917s et al screaming up the hill....

Sell your children, buy a ticket and go there.

McLaren is planning a huge showing this weekend at Goodwood. They are bringing almost 20 cars from their collection including numerous vintage Formula One race cars, two F1 GTR's including the one that won LeMans, the F1LM prototype, along with a P1 along with road and race versions of the MP12. Wish I could be there.

Just saw pics of GTR 01R going up the hill today. Racing history in action and only the second time the car's been out in the public since its Lemans victory.

Are those 3 cars real with engine and everything in it? Re-looked at some pics. Definitely quite an engineering feat.
